The ekeepo Story
As I was brainstorming for a company name in 2008, I reflected on my experience working together with software teams, businesses, and people which software teams aim at helping. Computers are great at storing data, comparing data, and moving data. As individuals, we have realized incredible benefits from these primitive capabilities. However, as an individual I know that my perspective is limited to my perspective. I have realized that "the magic" in projects happens when an interdisciplinary team comes together and combines their perspectives to think of a problem in a new way.
ekeepo, which is a phonetic spelling of the Spanish word 'equipo' meaning team, is about solving the challenges we face as individuals in the context of the teams we work in. Only when we consider the context we work in can we imagine a new perspective which will allow us to take the next leap forward.
